These Rwandan grown Peaberry beans are hand selected from the batches of normal beans. About 10% of beans have a random mutation that results in a single whole rather than two half beans in a cherry. These whole beans, deemed “peaberries,” develop more complex flavors due to the retention of flavorful acids within the bean throughout roasting. This batch boasts sweet molasses and dark berry notes that produce a bright cup.
